Sony Ericsson Turned Down Google Offer : Revealed

apple-logoYes You read it write the latest is that in regards the CEO of Sony Ericsson Bert Nordberg revealed some interesting piece of information with an interview to Swedish newspaper.

Apparently Google has chosen Sony Ericsson to built a Google phone which is now to be known as Nexus One.

The main thing in this story that Sony Ericsson did not want to rendered a slot if just a contract handset maker so they decline the offers politely said CEO Bert Nordberg “But Google got turned down. Brand [Recital... awareness? "Varumärkesskäl vägde tyngre."] weighed heavier. Sony Ericsson will only produce phones under its own brand and not be subcontracted to others.”

However the desire of HTC comes true and finally they went to make Google Nexus One. HTC made a huge name for itself by subcontracting for others and their work has won accolades, giving them a great stepping stone towards manufacturing their own goodies.

In this regard the damage has been done, Sony Ericsson is yet to released their Android phone which is named as X10 and that time of their arrival there is major competition with Google Nexus one and HTC Desire.
