Opera 10.60 Alpha Released

dell-logoOpera has announced the availability of the latest alpha version of its browser with an enhanced javascript engine and loads of UI improvements. The latest version of the Opera followed the path of the previous version Opera 10.5 That is known as the world fastest web browser. Opera has also displayed results of benchmarking tools like Peacemaker, in which the latest version gets better scores than rival Google Chrome and even the older sibling of Opera.

“To ensure that we get a quality release as soon as possible, Opera 10.5x for Linux will not be released as final, and instead all new features and enhancements will be available in version 10.60. These include the removal of Qt dependency, improved KDE and Gnome skinning, private browsing, and much more. Also, we are committing to keeping releases for Windows, Mac, and Linux in sync so that they are available at the same time”.
