iPhone No. 3 Smartphone, Showing Rapid Growth

iPhone-logoThe stats shows that the rapid growth of iPhone and Apple have almost doubled the shipment in the fourth quarter and earning the place among the smart phone makers that is quite impressive. Right now iPhone gained 14.4 of the market and its is quite close Research in Motion which is right now at number 2 slot.

The record describes that Apple have year-over-year growth rate of 82%, jumping to 14.4% of the smartphone market in 2009, up from 9.1 percent in 2008.

RIM (Research in Motion) which is the makers of BlackBerry is right now at second position with 19.8% according to 2009 market. However the iPhone shows rapid growth and it will be soon at the second position, only behind the Nokia with stands quite firmly with 38.1% in 2009.

It seems that Motorola Droid have helped Motorola and right now Motorola has acquired 4.6% of the smart phone market which is batter then 2008.

    Hi, I just bought a new Iphone, the ringtones on it are rubbish. There are plenty of people selling ringtones but after the price I paid for the phone I am not going to pay for ringtones. I found this informative video on youtube and now I make my own ringtones
